Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost-effective traction device.SOLUTION: A traction device (10) comprises two motors (18), an inverter (20) supplying power to the two motors, and a planetary gear set (22) for each motor, the planetary gear set (22) comprising first, second and third elements selected from an inner sun gear (24), an outer sun gear (26) and a planetary carrier (30). The first element is fixed rotatably with a corresponding output shaft (19), and the second element is intended to rotate each axle (12) of a vehicle. For at least one of the motors, motorized control means (34) rotates the corresponding third element. Means (38) measures the rotational speed and/or angular position of each output shaft. Means (40) controls the rotational speed of the corresponding third element as a function of the rotational speed and/or angular position of each output shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
