Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a machining station with dispensing with the installation of a work locking mechanism separately from a transfer device in the case where a work is positioned at the specified machining position in the machining station, in this transfer device conveying the work among plural units of the machining station.
CONSTITUTION: Four conveyor mechanisms 14a to 14d to convey works 13 are individually set up among four machining stations 11a to 11d. Each securing member 46 for positioning and securing the works 3 to machining positions of these machining stations 11a to 11d is installed in these conveyor mechanisms 14a to 14d. In a process of conveying the works 3 by the conveyor mechanisms 14a to 14d, the work 3 is pressed to a jig 48 in the machining stations 11a to 11d from the lower part by the securing member 46, positioning and securing it to the specified machining position.
