PURPOSE: To carry out safe and sure translocation in a translocating device consisting of a moving bogie and a receiving base by expanding an expansion/ contraction arm to a receiving base side in the lifted condition of a conveying object placed on the moving bogie through a lifting mechanism to carry out the translocation.

CONSTITUTION: A rectangular expansion/contraction arm 5 expandable/ contractible perpendicularly to rails 14 is provided on the bogie body 3 having wheels 11 which travel on the rails 14 of a moving bogie 1, and roller mechanisms 7 traveling on rails 12 on the bogie body 3 are provided on both side portions which extend in the longitudinal direction of the expansion/ contraction arms 5. A lift mechanism 6 for lifting up/down a conveying object 15 is provided on the expansion/contraction arm 5, while providing supporting beds 8 for placing the conveying object 15 at the time of lowering same through the lift mechanism 6 on both side portions of the pair of rails 12. A receiving base 2 is provided to carry out the translocating operation of the conveying object 15 toward the moving bogie 1, and a receiving base body 4 having a pair of rails 13 for making the roller mechanism 7 travel is provided on this receiving base 2.
