Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005075724
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a dental material having radiation impermeability, high chemical durability and adjustable translucence, brightness and the coefficient of thermal expansion.

Translucent and radio-impermeable glass-ceramic comprises, by weight, SiO2 of 46.0-58.0%, P2O5 of 2.0-6.0%, Me2O3 of 10.0-22.0%, Me2O of 14.5-30.0%, MeO of 4.0-13.0% and F of 0.3-3.0% (wherein, Me2O3, Me2O and MeO are metal oxides regulated in this specification). When CaO content is 0.1-2.5 wt.%, at least one of SrO and MgO is contained by 3.1 wt.% or more. The glass-ceramic has apatite as its main crystal phase.
