Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transport container made of steel plates, of which the assembly is easy, and in addition, which has an extremely strong rigidity against a load from the top by directly transmitting a load which is applied to corner columns to the installation surface of the transport container.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of side panels 12A and a pair of end panels 12B are erected on four peripheral edges of a floor member 11 for which a corrugated steel plate is provided on the top surfaces of a plurality of base legs 10 with a hat type cross section, and both ends of the side panels 12A and end panels 12B are bonded to constitute a side wall. Then, at both ends of the side panel 12A, corner columns 21 are provided, and the lower part of the corner column 21 is projected downward to be lower than the side panel 12A. Then, the lower part of the corner column 21 is inserted in the base leg 10, and the lower surface of the side panel 12A is seated on the floor member.
