PURPOSE: To permit the chamferring, burr-removing, and surface-polishing for a variety of articles by laying in tilt form a groove-shaped or cylindrical flow passage having a concaved or convex flow-restricting structure and abrasive material inside and feeding a workpiece from an upper part.

CONSTITUTION: When a transport-passage body 1 is laid at a tilt angle at which a workpiece (a) and abrasive grains (b) can flow down, between desired transportation parts, the abrasive grains (b) fed from higher place side and the workpiece (a) such as a steel ball, nut, or a wsher flow to a lower place side, rolling with friction in a flow passage 4. Because of the bulged part 15 for restricting flow which is formed in the flow passage 4, the direction of flow lies in zigzag line, and the workpiece (a) is rolled in the different directions each time when the direction of flow is changed, and the whole peripheral surface is uniformly applied with friction. Therefore, when the workpiece (a) which passes through a transportation apparatus having a proper length and the abrasive material (b) are separated, the workpiece (a) which is chamferred, burr-removed, and surface-polished by flow friction can be obtained, and at the same time, can be transported to an aimed position.
