Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inexpensively regenerate blank materials for recycling with good efficiency by charging the electric cable residues contg. the copper wire residues and the crushed materials of coating layers into jet vortexes and classifying the pulverized materials obtd. by subjecting these residues to impingement pulverization.

CONSTITUTION: The electric cable residues contg. the copper wire residues and the crushed materials of the coating layers are transported by air, etc., and are charged into a pulverizing machine from an inlet part 2. This pulverizing machine is constituted by mounting a pulverizing part 5 having an empty chamber 6, a rotating blade 4 and a rotating plate 9 from above to a revolving shaft 3 rotated at a high speed. The above-mentioned electric cable residues are splashed upward by the rotating plate 9 and are finely cut by the rotating blade 9. The finely cut materials are further charged into the jet vortexes in the empty chamber 6. The finely cut materials collide vigorously against each other and are pulverized. As a result, the pulverized materials of the copper wire residues of about ≤30 mesh are peeled from the pulverized materials of the coating layers of long fibers of about 1 to 2mm. These materials are transferred from a discharge part 8 to a separating stage. The electric cable residues are thus easily regenerated to the copper blank materials and the fibrous packing materials.
