Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving and environmentally harmless process, which separates ammonia contained in a large quantity of waste water containing a small quantity of ammonia, separates and decomposes it.
SOLUTION: A partial condensation method is adopted to a distillation tower 1 of ammonia, and vapor 24 containing a high concentration of ammonia is obtained by partial condensation and the vapor is fed to an ammonia burner to oxidize and decompose it at a condition ≥1100°C theoretical flame temp. and if necessary, combustion gas is washed with a water absorption tower 14 for conduction gas and recovered the heat, and also in some cases a heat pump process is applied to the partial condensation to attain energy saving effect.
