Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide trimming equipment for a hot rolled aluminum sheet excellent in cuttability of the edge portions at both ends in the width direction of a rolled aluminum sheet and capable of lessening adherence or entrainment of cutting powders to or onto the rolled aluminum sheet after edge cutting.SOLUTION: There is provided trimming equipment for a hot rolled aluminum sheet comprising cutting and removing the edge portions at both ends of the sheet in a width direction using a pair of disk-like rotary trimmer blades. Trimming equipment comprises a mechanism for injecting and supplying through the injection nozzles an emulsion prepared by blending a base oil, water and an emulsifier on the shearing place of the hot rolled aluminum sheet by the disk-like rotary trimmer blades.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
