Title:
TUBE FITTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3865945
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube fitting to prevent movement in a hose and not to damage an inner peripheral wall of the hose.
SOLUTION: A V-shaped groove part 16 is formed at depth L1 by rolling work on an outer peripheral wall 12A of a tube fitting 12. Crest parts 20 top parts of which are gently-sloping are formed on both shoulder parts of the groove part 16 by this V-shaped groove part 16. Consequently, an inner peripheral wall of a hose is never damaged. Additionally, the crest part 20 is formed at height L2 from the outer peripheral wall 12A of the tube fitting 12, and even when the groove part 16 itself is not made so deep, material depth from the top part of the crest part 20 to a bottom part of the groove part 16 comes to be L1+L2. Furthermore, a trough part 18 is formed between the crest part 20 and the crest part 20. Consequently, it is possible to secure biting quantity of the hose. Additionally, as the crest part 20 bites in on the inner peripheral wall of the hose when the hose is fastened, the tube fitting 12 is fixed without moving in the inside of the hose.
