Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out an invert construction even in a narrow tunnel.
SOLUTION: After an invert on the progress side has been excavated, a base 20 is divided into two parts in the lateral direction, these bases 20 are fitted into at least a pair of guide pipes 22 arranged in front and behind from both sides in the lateral direction, a pair of outriggers 26 are respectively arranged to the guide pipes 22 through lateral moving means 24, the front of a movable pier formed by arranging travelling mechanisms 30 to the lower parts in front and behind of the bases 20 is installed on the lower part 14 of the tunnel, the rear thereof is installed on the existing inverted construction surface 50 to enable a person to pass on the pier during the curing of an invert concrete, the rising and falling of each outrigger 26, the lateral movement of each base 20 is widened by the lateral moving means 24 and, at the same time, the lateral mobility of the pier is promoted.
