Abstract:
To provide a twist-less yarn which enables the adoption of a water-based process in a process for producing a fabric and does not cause the problem of a waste fluid treatment after an alkali treatment, and to provide a fabric using the twist-less yarns.
This twist-less yarn uses polylactic acid-based fibers as a soluble raw material. Various fabrics comprise the twist-less yarns. The polylactic acid-based fibers used as the raw material for the twist-less yarn has preferably a melting point of ≥150°C, and a relative viscosity (ηrel) of ≥2.0.
