Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic array sensor hardly causing side lobes.
SOLUTION: An ultrasonic array sensor 1 is provided with tube-shaped waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c for guiding ultrasonic waves and an ultrasonic vibrator 5 mounted at one terminal part of these waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c for sending ultrasonic waves toward another terminal part 9 of waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c and plural waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c provided with this ultrasonic vibrator 5 are arranged. In this case, the other terminal part 9 of respective waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c is formed almost rectangular, the respective other terminal parts 9 of these respective waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c are arranged in the form of column and among the respective waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c, the one-side terminal parts of adjacent waveguide tubes 3a, 3b and 3c are extended in mutually different directions.
