Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which completely removes a burr or the like on the surface of an object to be processed, prevents damage of a device and degradation in durability, and is suitable to deburring and polishing of the object to be processed such as a small-sized medical device.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic deburring and surface polishing method stores a polishing liquid mixed with abrasive grains and an object to be processed in a thin-wall container with thin thickness in a tightly-closed manner, immerses the thin-wall container in a washing liquid of an ultrasonic washing tank, deaerates the washing liquid in the ultrasonic washing tank to keep the dissolved oxygen amount to be equal to or less than 3 mg/l, and emits an ultrasonic wave at a vibration frequency within 20 to 50 KHz to the washing liquid in the ultrasonic washing tank to perform deburring and surface polishing of the object to be processed in the thin-wall container. At this time, it is suitable that the dissolved oxygen amount of the polishing liquid in the thin-wall container is deaerated to be about 2 ppm or less in the DO value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
