Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which detects and displays a general kinetic condition of a subject so as to have a macro diagnosis of the subject.
CONSTITUTION: A heart blood flow area 16 is detected in each frame. The center of gravity G as a reference point in the blood flow area 16 is determined by a center-of-gravity calculating section. Data on shifts of the center of gravity between the frames are calculated by a center-of-gravity velocity calculating section or a center-of-gravity acceleration calculating section, and displayed. Thus, even with respect to a subject which has a three-dimensional structure and is beating while twisting as a whole, such as a heart, a general kinetic condition thereof can be detected so that a macro diagnosis can be conducted.
