Title:
ULTRASONIC WAVE PROBE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3731690
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric crosstalk between vibrator elements and to improve an S/N by connecting a ground wire composed of a metal wire corresponding to the long axial direction of a piezoelectric vibrator arrayed in a strip shape on a sound absorbing material and the metal wire pulled out from the metal wire in an interdigital shape to the ground surface of a vibrator.
SOLUTION: The metal wires 7 of the two ground wires 6' constituted of the metal wire 7 corresponding to the long axial direction of the piezoelectric vibrator 2 and the metal wires 8 in the interdigital shape branched from it are respectively connected to the ground surfaced 10 and 11 and the metal wires 8 are respectively bent in the direction of the sound absorbing material 1 at the corner of the vibrator 2 and connected to a ground wiring board 12. Also, the pull-out wire 13 of the ground wire 6' and the pull-out wire 14 of the wiring board 12 are connected to the ground wire of the signal cable of an ultrasonic main body. Thus, in the case of impressing ultrasonic pulses between a signal wire 5 and the ground wire 6' and generating ultrasonic waves, the impedance of the ground wire 6' is low and interference by an electric field to the vibrator adjacent to the vibrator to be driven is eliminated.
