Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide underwear comprising polyester fibers containing specified amounts of a specific side-chain type polyoxyalkylene group, a main chain type polyoxyalkylene group and a basic metal sulfonat, showing excellent durability, water absorption, sweat absorption, and heat retaining properties.
CONSTITUTION: The polyester fibers contains (A) a structural unit of formula I [(x), (y) are 0, 1; Z is a monovalent group of formula II (R1 is 1 to 18C hydrocarbon, R2 is alkylene; n1 means an average polymerization degree of 10 to 100), (B) a structural unit of formula III (R3 is alkylene; n2 is a monovalent group of average polymerization degree of 10 to 100) and (C) a structural unit of formula IV (Ar is a trivalent aromatic group; M is a metal atom) where the contents of A and B are each 1 to 49wt.% and totals 2 to 50wt.% and the content of C is 0.5 to 10 mole % based on the total acid components in the polyester copolymer, and has ≥0.5dl/g intrinsic viscosity. The polyester fibers are woven, cut and sewed to give the objective underwear.
