Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent driving without carrying a driver's license or without a license by providing a device for reading a bar code of a driver's license, on a control unit for operating an engine. CONSTITUTION:A bar code reading device 15 is installed on a driver's seat and an identification flag of a driver's license 11 is previousl stored in it. A license inserting slit 17 into which a driver's license can be removably inserted, is formed on the front face of the bar code reading device 15. The electric system device 19 of an engine can be operated only when the bar code reading device 15 is reading the identification flag which is stored from the driver's license 11. Accordingly, since there is a mechanical relation between the driver's license 11 and the engine, it is impossible to operate the engine without a driver's license, thereby, preventing driving without carrying a driver's license or without a license.
