PURPOSE: To improve the wear resistance of a bearing part and permitting high- speed revolution of a rotor and reduce the weight of the pump by forming the bearing part of a housing from the composite material integrally formed from light alloy material and fiber.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor shaft which is revolved and driven is supported rotatably by the slidable surface of a bearing part 3 installed in a housing, and a rotor equipped with a plurality of vane plates in the radial direction is installed at one edge part of the rotor shaft. The whole shape of the housing 2 is made of the light alloy material such as aluminium alloy, etc., and the fiber 12 such as alumina short fiber is composed onto the bearing part 3 onto which the rotor shaft is attached in slidable ways. Thus, the wear resistance of the bearing part is improved, and the seizure in high-speed revolution of the rotor is prevented, and the housing 2 can be made lightweight.
