Abstract:
To provide a vector for efficiently identifying a gene involved in the aimed phenotype.
The vector for producing retrovirus has: a pair of loxP sequences; a puromycin-resistant gene sandwiched by the pair of loxP sequences, having no promoter, and added with a poly-A addition signal on the 3' side; and a gene situated downstream of the puromycin-resistant gene, having a promoter, added with a poly-A addition signal on the 3' side, and encoding a fused protein of β-galactosidase and a neomycin-resistant protein.
