Abstract:
To provide a vehicle battery protection structure capable of protecting a battery pack from a load transmitted through an air intake duct.SOLUTION: In a vehicle battery protection structure, a spare tire 5 is disposed above a battery pack 50 in an attitude that its center axis 5A is arranged perpendicularly. Further, an air intake duct 60, which guides air taken from an air intake port 60A disposed at a side part of a vehicle body 2 to a first intake air introduction port 21 and a second intake air introduction port 22 at a rear end part of the battery pack 50, is provided behind the battery pack 50. The air intake duct 60 has: a first air intake duct 61; and a second air intake duct 62 which supplies air received from the first air intake duct 61 to an interior of the battery pack 50 from the first intake air introduction port 21 and the second intake air introduction port 22. The second air intake duct 62 has a curved part 62C curved rearward in a protruding manner below the spare tire 5. A rear end part of the curved part 62C is disposed at the same position as or in front of a rear end part 5C of the spare tire 5 in a vehicle fore and aft direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
