Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device for suppressing decline in efficiency of a double rotor type rotating electrical machine when magnetic flux interference occurs.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 101 includes an engine 10, a rotating electrical machine 30 and an ECU 90. In the rotating electrical machine 30, a first rotor 31 is mechanically coupled to the engine 10 integrally rotatably, and a second rotor 32 is coupled to an output shaft 50. The rotating electrical machine 30 includes an inner motor 30a that can rotate the first rotor 31 and an outer motor 30b that can rotate the second rotor 32. The ECU 90 controls an electric current flowing in the inner motor 30a and the outer motor 30b to suppress decline in efficiency of the rotating electrical machine 30 while maintaining the sum of torque generated by the inner motor 30a and the outer motor 30b, when a rotary magnetic field or a magnetic field caused by an induction current is generated in each of the inner motor 30a and the outer motor 30b and magnetic flux interference occurs between the magnetic fields.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
