Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead corner confirmation device for a vehicle which can reduce manufacturing cost and does not obstruct a field of view of a driver.SOLUTION: A dead corner confirmation device 10 for a vehicle is structured of mirror devices 11, 12, 13 arranged toward a driver's seat on an outer side of a left headlight H1 of the vehicle, mirror devices 11', 12', 13' arranged toward the driver's seat on an outer side of a right headlight H1' of the vehicle, and a control unit 14 which controls the mirror devices 11, 12, 13, 11', 12', 13' arranged in the vehicle. A line of sight of the driver is reflected from the mirror device 11 in a mirror state, and the reflected line of sight travels to a side surface on a front passenger seat side of the vehicle. The line of sight of the driver is reflected also from the mirror device 12 in the mirror state, and the reflected line of sight travels to an immediate front of the vehicle. The line of sight of the driver is reflected also from the mirror device 13 in the mirror state, and the reflected line of sight travels to the immediate front of the vehicle and a nearest side on a right headlight H1' side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
