Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system capable of notifying a user of time required for melting an electrolyte of a battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system 10 is equipped with: an on-vehicle battery 12 which includes an electrolyte; a battery temperature sensor 62 which detects the temperature of the battery 12; a notification portion 76 which notifies information on the battery; heating means 60 and 70 for heating the battery 12; and a controller 20 which notifies the freezing of the electrolyte through the notification portion 76 on the basis of a battery temperature Tb detected by the battery temperature sensor 62. The controller 20 calculates melting time Th, Tf required for thawing the electrolyte by the actuation of the heating means and notifies a user about that through the notification portion 76, on the basis of the battery temperature Tb and the output of the heating means 60 and 70, when notifying the freezing of the electrolyte.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
