Abstract:
To provide a vehicle repair support system and a vehicle repair support method capable of quickly procuring a repair component required for repair of a disabled vehicle while reducing stock of components.SOLUTION: A vehicle repair support system for supporting repair of a disabled vehicle comprises: a storage device that stores IDs of a plurality of pre-registered donor vehicles and components mounted on the donor vehicles in association with each other; a support management device that identifies a repair component necessary for repairing the disabled vehicle based on failure information of the disabled vehicle, and extracts a donor vehicle equipped with the repair component from among the plurality of donor vehicles based on information stored in the storage device; and a request notification device that notifies an owner of the donor vehicle extracted by the support management device of a request for provision of the repair component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
