Abstract:
To mitigate abutment sound when an engaging groove of a hook member is engaged with a striker and to strongly hold a seat back at a raised position.
In the vehicle seat lock device capable of holding the seat back at an erected position by engaging the striker 5 on a vehicle body side with the engaging groove 81 of the hook member 8 pivotally attached to a seat back side supported by a vehicle body so as to be raised and brought down, the hook member 8 is formed by performing synthetic resin molding to a metallic base material, and the base material is exposed to the receiving edge part 8a of the engaging groove 81 where the striker 5 abuts on the leaning direction of the seat back.
