To make no correction on instantaneously high level volume caused by door closing sound of a vehicle by constituting an on-vehicle volume control system in such a way that a DSP control means receives a door opening signal from detecting means and controls to switch off the volume correcting function of a DSP at the time of the door being opened.
A sound device 10 is mounted with a DSP 3, and the DSP 3 has a volume correcting function 3a. A microphone 12 for detecting noise is connected to the DSP 3, and a plurality of speakers 11 are connected to the sound device 10. Upon the input of information indicating door opening from any one of door opening/closing detecting means 1a-1d, a DSP control means 2 controls to switch off the volume correcting function 3a of the DSP 3, and upon the input of information indicating that all the doors are closed, the DSP control means 2 controls to switch on the volume correcting function 3a of the DSP 3.
