Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a rust prevention function in a vehicular bearing device.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device 10 includes an outer ring 11, a hub shaft 12, a rolling element 13, a seal 15 attached to the vehicle outer side of the outer ring 11, a rotary slinger 16 which is attached to the vehicle outer side of the hub shaft 12 and is placed in contact with the seal 15, and a fixed slinger 19 which is attached to a vehicle outer side outer periphery of the outer ring 11 and placed in contact with the seal 15. An outer peripheral surface of the outer ring 11 has: a non-plated surface part 21 provided at a vehicle outer side end part 25; and a plated surface part 22 continuing into the non-plated surface part 21. The fixed slinger 19 has an inner cylindrical part 41 fitted on and attached to the non-plated surface part 21. The seal 15 has: inner lips 27b, 27c, 27d which contact with the rotary slinger 16; and an outer lip 27e which contacts with the inner cylindrical part 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
