Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow supply amounts of electricity from a battery to an electric load to be reduced even if electric currents required for the electric load exceeds the maximum currents of a DC/DC converter.SOLUTION: A vehicular control device determines whether or not electric currents required for an electric load 8 are larger than maximum output currents of a DC/DC converter 3; compares amounts of electricity that an alternator 1 generates using fuel when electricity is supplied to the electric load 8 from an electricity storage device 2 through a DC/DC converter 3 with amounts of electricity that the alternator 1 generates using the fuel when electricity is supplied to the electric load 8 from the electricity storage device 2 through a bypass circuit 4; and selects, according to the determination result and the comparison result, supply of the electricity to the electric load 8 from the electricity storage device 2 through the DC/DC converter 3 or supply of the electricity to the electric load 8 through the bypass circuit 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
