Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a steering wheel reaction force control ability, in a vehicular steering device steering a steered wheel by a steering wheel and a sub-steering mechanism and capable of independently controlling a wheel steering angle and steering wheel reaction force.
SOLUTION: The vehicular steering device has a reaction torque controlling means 16 controlling driving torque applied to a ring gear 204 of a first planetary gear 2 so as to make a target reaction torque 1501 produced by a target reaction force producing means 15 agree with reaction torque 1001 detected by a reaction torque detecting means 10. The vehicular steering device is provided with a feed-forward compensating means 17 producing feed-forward control amount 1701 based on a deviation between a steering wheel angle 1201 detected by a steering wheel angle detecting means 12 and a target wheel steering angle 1301 produced by a target wheel steering angle producing means 13. The feed-forward control amount 1701 is added to output of the reaction torque controlling means 16.
