To make a cooling unit compact and low cost, and prevent noise by abolishing an evaporator coil.
A vending machine includes a guide 101a attached around a compressor 102, and water sheets 106a 106b drawing up drain water. The guide 101a blows exhaust heat from the compressor 102 between water sheets 106a and 106b, thereby increasing the drain water 108 temperature and decreasing humidity on the surfaces of the water sheets 106a and 106b. This allows the evaporator coil to be removed while evaporating capacity is secured at the level more than or equal to that of the conventional case. Therefore, not only does the structure of the cooling unit become compact, but also the cost can be reduced accordingly for the evaporating coil, further eliminating noise owing to vibrations of the evaporating coil.
