PURPOSE: To decompose organic material, to alleviate and prevent fixture of contaminants by providing an ultraviolet ray lamp for radiating two types of special ultraviolet rays and its lighting circuit in a ventilation fan body.
CONSTITUTION: A ventilation fan body is composed of blades 1 to be driven by a motor 5, an outer frame 2 and a shutter 3 for preventing invasion of wind and rain, and an ultraviolet ray lamp 7 radiates ultraviolet rays and generates ozone to decompose organic materials adhered to the blades 1 and the frame 2. The lamp 7 is connected to a lighting circuit 9 and a power source 11, and started by a blow lamp 10 by closing a switch 12. The switch 12 is opened or closed in cooperation with the rotation of the blades 1 by a switch 4. The lamp 7 radiates the ultraviolet rays having 185nm and 254nm, the former of which forms ozone from oxygen molecules in the air, the latter of which separates the material into single atoms of oxygen in the atmosphere in which the ozone exists. The single atoms of the oxygen generates carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, water from the organic material to be volatilized and decomposed.
