Abstract:
To provide a video decoding device, a video system, and a program that enable appropriate video display processing on a display monitor according to a frame frequency of a video signal of an encoded stream.SOLUTION: A video decoding device includes an encoding stream analysis unit that generates a display control signal according to a frame frequency of a video in an encoding stream and a decoding processing unit that decodes the encoding stream to generate a video signal. The display control signal is a signal representing a display time aperture ratio obtained by dividing the maximum value of the frame frequency that the decoding processing unit can decode by the frame frequency of the encoding stream.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
