Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3429839
Kind Code:

Abstract:

PURPOSE: To speedily and exactly tune a program signal, which is transmitted by a station tuning the tuner of television receiver to a station for broadcasting, through the tuner of video recorder.
CONSTITUTION: Comparators 69 and 75 are connected through one of connections 65, 66, 73 and 77 to a tuner 19 and a connector 4. One component, from among at least one of two reception signals generated by a tuner 46 and supplied to the connector 4 is compared with the corresponding component of received signal generated by the tuner 19. When the supplied signals are not identical, the comparators 69 and 75 generate unequals signals, but when the signals are identical, these devices generate equality signals. When generating the unequals signals, the tuner 19 is tuned to the other station, but when generating the equality signals, the state of tuning the station is maintained.
