Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video server device, a broadcasting system, and a method for memory control which can reduce lowering of a through-put.SOLUTION: The video server according to an embodiment includes: a memory device, a server control unit, and an output unit. The memory device has a plurality of memory units. The server control unit records acquired content data into a memory unit and reads the content data. An output unit outputs content data. Each of the memory units has a first area, a second area, and a memory control unit, the first and second areas being divided by different data buses. The memory control unit allocates the first area and the second area in turn when writing data into a memory unit, and transfers writing data to one of the first and second areas in a predetermined reference period of time and reads reading data from the other area at same time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
