To enable, in a shooting practice using a video as a target, the training of a trainee to take the right action at the right time in each scene of a training video and the evaluation of the result of the practice.
This tool comprises a control device 2 storing data 4 for the timing of an action to be taken by the trainee such as take-out of gun, warning, firing stance, shooting or the like, which is preliminarily set in conformation to the content of the training video, and hit data 8; an input device 5 connected to the control device 2 to input a timing signal showing the own action of the trainee; a display device 1 for displaying the training video 3; and a storage device 9 connected to the control device 2. The control device 2 detects what frame of the training video 3 the timing signal corresponds to, determines whether or not the detected frame is included in a frame range designated by the data 4 and hit data 8, and stores the determination result in the storage device 9, in addition to the display on the display device.
