To provide a vinegar-containing fruit beverage having no stimulating smell and nasty smell and taste derived from vinegar, and maintaining flavor inherent in fruit juice, and also additionally provided with health function of the vinegar: and to provide a method for producing the vinegar-containing fruit beverage.
The vinegar-containing fruit beverage is obtained by mixing a mixture produced by admixing vinegar with inorganic carbonate such as sodium hydrogencarbonate and/or organic acid salt such as sodium acid citrate, with fruit juice so as to suppress stimulating smell and nasty smell and taste derived from the vinegar to maintain the flavor inherent in the fruit juice, and additionally provided with health function of the vinegar. In this invention, the inorganic carbonate comprises the sodium hydrogencarbonate (bicarbonate of soda) or the like and the organic acid salt comprises the sodium acid citrate or the like.
