PURPOSE: The titled composition useful as thin molded articles such as rainwater pipes, etc., having low coefficient of linear expansion, improved impact resistance, molding properties, and weather resistance, etc., obtained by blending a vinyl chloride resin with glass short fibers, gypsum fibers, chlorinated PE, etc. as an improver for increasing adhesivity between them, a processing auxiliary, and an ultraviolet light absorber.
CONSTITUTION: (A) 100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin (especially preferably PVC) is blended with (B) 5W30pts.wt. glass short fibers (preferably glass chop having 0.05W3mm length in existence in a molded article, whose surface is treated with a coupling agent such as epoxysilane, etc.), (C) 5W50pts.wt. gypsum fibers (preferably gypsum fibers having 100W200μ diameter, whose surface is treated similarly to the component B), (D) 5W20pts.wt. one or more of chlorinated PE, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ABS, and MBS as an improver, (E) 1W0.5pt.wt. one or more of MAS, and PMMA as a processing auxiliary, and (F) 0.05W0.5pt.wt. ultraviolet light absorber (e.g., salicylate ester, benzoate ester, etc.).
