Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject molding which does not cause secondary pollution even when left as waste material in nature after use, readily degrades spontaneously in natural environment, is readily resolved into soil in a short period of time, and is highly economical in preventing environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION:The objective molding comprises a dispersion medium comprising a diene polymer containing at least 50mol% diene compound monomer unit mixed with a disperse phase comprising a particulate polyvinyl chloride polymer having a mean particle diameter of 0.2-2mum. It is desirable that the mixture contains 3-30 pts.wt. diene polymer based on 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl chloride polymer, that the diene polymer contains at most 20 pts.wt. methyl methacrylate/ butadiene/styrene copolymer and 2-10 pts.wt. thermoplastic styrene/butadiene block polymer and that, in particular, the diene is 2-methyl-1,3-butadiene.
