Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove virus in air with a filter and inactivate the captured virus on the filter.
CONSTITUTION: A filter is impregnated with extracted components of tea or polyphenols of tea; or the components or the polyphenols may be kneaded with a meterial for the filter to provide a virus inactivating function. A charging part 4 is installed in the upper stream side of the filter 1 to improve the dust collecting function and the inactivating function. Also, a virus-inactivating agent is made to adhere to a heat exchange element 6 to prevent the virus from coming in from the outside. The virus in air is inactivated by adding the virus- inactivating agent to humidifying water and carrying out humidification.
