Title:
WASHING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3604802
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning performance while avoiding an increase in size of a washing machine by disposing paired longitudinal side surfaces with their mutual distance greater above a central axis relative to their mutual distance below the central axis.
SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 46 of a stirrer blade 42 is mounted with a tilt relative to both a longitudinal side surface 41c of a washing bucket 41 and a horizontal direction. Laundry is well stirred as the rotation of the laundry varies. The washing bucket 41 is narrowed toward the lower portion thereof so that rotation of the laundry passing through that portion is accelerated. The rotary shaft 46 is tilted relative to a mounting portion 41i of the longitudinal side surface 41b by a tension of a belt 48. A portion near the center of a disk 42a of the stirrer blade 42 is made to project toward the inside of the wash bucket to increase its strength. A bearing portion 45 may be made in a small size to reduce cost. Water splash is restricted.
