Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. which is excellent in pigment dispersion and gives a coating film excellent in gloss by compounding a water-base fluoroolefin resin emulsion. a pigment, and a specific copolymer as the essential components.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains a water-base fluoroolefin resin emulsion (e.g. a resin emulsion obtd. from vinyl acetate, hexadiene, vinyl neononanoate, crotonic acid. chlorotrifluoroethylene, and ethylene), a pigment, a dibasic acid copolymer (e.g. a styrene-maleic acid copolymer), and if necessary a nonionic emulsifier and an acrylic thickener.
