Abstract:

To obtain a water-base printing ink which exhibits an excellent printability, printing effects, and laminating capability when used for printing a surface-treated plastic film by incorporating a water-base polyurethane resin and a specific aminated polyacrylamide into the same.

The aminated polyactylamide is pref. copolymer of acrylamide and acrylic acid hydrazide, pref. gas a content of hyrazide-derived units of 10-80mol%, and pref. has a wt. average mol.wt. of 1,000-2,500,000. The water- base polyurethane resin pref. has a number average mol.wt. of 1,000-20,000. The wt. ratio (solid basis) of the resin to the polyacrylamide is pref. (100:0.01)-(100:50).
