Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-dispersible polyurethane composition suitable for a coating for a non-chromium-treated metal material, which realizes adhesion to a substrate, alkali resistance and solvent resistance.
SOLUTION: The water-dispersible polyurethane composition is obtained from a polyisocyanate component comprising a diisocyanate as an essential ingredient and another polyisocyanate compound as an optional ingredient, a polyol component, a modifier component containing at least one compound represented by any one of general formulae (1)-(3) (wherein R1 and R2 are each a 1-18C hydrocarbyl group; p is 0 or 1; R3 and R4 are each a 1-18C hydrocarbyl group; q is 1 or 2; R5 is a 1-4C alkyl group; and r is an integer of 0-2), a chain extender component comprising a dicarboxylic acid dihydrazide compound as an essential ingredient and a polyamine compound as an optional ingredient, and water.
