Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent molding resin, which is used for resin-molding of an electric lead out part, from leaking to the terminal metal side.
CONSTITUTION: Regarding the molding of a terminal metal 40, to which an electric wire 2 is connected, by inserting the metal 40 into a terminal insertion open part 131 of a cavity 12 of a connector housing 10 and molding the terminal metal 40 with molding resin 100; a plug body 50 which penetrates the electric wire 22 is inserted into the terminal insertion open part following the insertion of the terminal metal 40. The plug body 50 is made of an elastic material and closely adheres to the inner circumferential face of the terminal insertion open part 131 to prevent the resin from leaking at the time of molding and at the same time the plug body provides sufficient water-proofness and thus even if a gap is formed between the molding resin layer 100 and the electric wire 22, the plug body surely prevents water infiltration.
