Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of molding resin to the terminal metal fitting side, regarding an electric wire leading out part molded with resin.
CONSTITUTION: A water-proof connector is a suck one in which a terminal metal fitting 40 to which an electric wire 22 is connected is inserted into the terminal insertion opening 131 of the cavity 12 of a connector housing 10 which is molded with molding resin 100. Subsequent to the terminal metal fitting 40, a plug body 50 penetrated by the electric wire 22 is inserted from the terminal insertion opening. The inner circumference of the storage part of the plug body 50 and the outer circumference of the plug body 50 are made in taper shapes narrowing gradually toward the deeper part and due to the pressure of the molding resin, the plug body 50 is attached closely to the inner circumference of the connector housing 10.
