Abstract:
PURPOSE: To greatly expand an effective reach range by providing a water tower truck installed with a swivelable and depressing and elevating turret nozzle in front of a cabin slidably with the turret nozzle alongside the cabin.
CONSTITUTION: A stage 6 is freely turnably supported on a mounting frame 2 fixed and disposed to the cabin to project forward of the cabin 1 of the water tower truck and the turret nozzle 7 is swivelably and depressing and elevating installed on this stage 6. Namely, an approximately half annular turning frame 8 around the center of curvature of a central shaft 3 is installed on the mounting frame 2. The stage 6 is freely rollably supported via rolling rollers along a supporting frame 10 concentrically installed on the outer periphery of this frame 8. A sprocket 13 is turned by a driving motor 12, by which the stage 6 is swiveled around the central shaft 3 as a turning center by meshing with the roller chain 9 of the sprocket 13 so as to slide the turret nozzle 7 alongside the cabin 1.
