PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance productivity and workability of installation of laminated FPC by holding the laminated FPC, when the upper and lower retainers of an inlet chamber within a box-shaped housing and a front retainer at the front end of the housing are pressed, and locking it to the housing in this position.
SOLUTION: A waterproof connector is formed of a square-shaped housing 110 formed of an insulating material, and a slit for inserting a laminated FPC is opened in the rear end thereof. A receiving recessed part for inserting the terminal of a male connector is formed at the front end so as to have a square shape in a front view. An inlet chamber for allowing the slit to communicate with the receiving recessed part, and a plate upper retainer 120 and lower retainer 130 provided on and under the inlet chamber are arranged within the housing 110, and when the retainers 120, 130 are pushed into the inlet chamber, they are locked in positions for holding the laminated FPC. A square front retainer 140 in a front view is provided at the front end, and when it is pushed backward, it is locked in a position for holding the upper FPC with the front end upper part of the receiving recessed part and holding the lower FPC with the front end lower part.
