Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it easy to exhaust invaded-in water outside in either of fitting states in two directions making approximately right angles.
CONSTITUTION: A waterproof type luminaire is equipped with a luminaire main body 1 the peripheral end of the approximately square plate-like bottom plate 1a of which is raised so as to form a flange portion 1b at the tip portion thereof and which is water-proof fitted on a wall face in two directions making right angles, globe fitting portions 1e which are provided on the outside of the flange portion 1a positioned up and down in the fitting state in one direction, and a globe 6 one side of which is opened and a screw insertion hole 6a is provided in the vicinity of an opening side and which is disposed so as to approximately cover the luminaire main body 1 and is mounted to the globe fitting portion 1e. When the water-proof type luminaire is fitted so that the globe fitting portion 1e is directed in a transverse direction that is the fitting state of the waterproof type luminaire in the other direction, the screw insertion hole 6a is provided on a center line extending in the transverse direction of the opening of the globe 6, and the globe fitting portion 1e is provided so as to be displaced downward than a center line extending in the horizontal direction of the luminaire main body 1 so that a gap exhausting invaded-inside water outside is formed on the bottom end of the globe 6.
