PURPOSE: To improve an absorption characteristic of an electro-magnetic-wave incidence angle by a method wherein a first wave absorption layer is formed on a first wave reflector, a second wave reflector of a conductor layer is formed on the first wave absorption layer and a second wave absorption layer is formed on the second wave reflector in order to make a band of a wave absorber wide.
CONSTITUTION: A first wave absorption layer 2 is formed on a first wave reflector 1. A second wave reflector 3 of a layer of a conductor is formed on the absorption layer 2. A second wave absorption layer 4 is composed mainly of a mixture which is similar to the absorption layer 2 formed on the reflector 3. An incident wave A is reflected partly by the surface of an absorber and is transmitted partly to the inside of the absorption layers 2, 4. Electromagnetic waves which have been transmitted to the absorption layers 2, 4 are reflected by the reflector 1 and interfere on the surface of the absorber. An incident wave C is reflected partly by the surface of the absorber and is transmitted partly to the inside of the absorption layer 2. The electromagnetic waves which have been transmitted to the absorption layer 2 are reflected by the reflector 3 and interfere on the surface of the absorber. By this setup, a band of the wave absorber can be mase wide, and an absorption characteristic of an electromagentic-wave incidence angle is improved.
